Trekking in the mountains

A trekking in the mountains around the Garda region is the "Emperor´s Trekking Fortress" that will be very appreciated by historians as well. These fortresses are all linked by a trekking path in the mountains and are located in a fascinating landscape, directly at the foot of the Trentino mountains. You can also reach the famous Dolomites, it´s always worth it, in winter and in summer. The fortresses had a great strategic importance during the Great War; the most important trekking in the mountains itineraries are: the Monte Brione fortresses, the "Tagliata del Pontale", the Monte Altissimo, San Giovanni Cimarocca, the Riccabona path. In Riva del Garda, Arco di Trento and Torbole it´s possible to count on many "Trekking hotels" where everything is tailored on the hikers´ needs.
